Fourth
A nice Fourth of July:The good: lots of reading (started and finished this), a little swimming, grilled chicken, deviled eggs, lemonade, s'mores.
The bad: intense thunderstorms hit just about when fireworks shows would've started.
The ugly: having to see Jesse Helms' face every time I turned on the TV. As the News & Observer put it today, he stood against history's tide.
